LS swap into 97 suburban
im fairly new to this site but i have been reading alot of information and taking notes.
im very excited about doing the swap but sourcing parts is a beast and expensive!!
i'm currently working on swapping in a 5.3 with a ls6 intake into my 97 suburban.
i have a ls6 intake on the way but i need a fuel rail.
would i need a fuel rail from 97-98 corvette or would a 98-04 f body work?
if the latter, how would i hook up the return line?
thanks
i forgot to add that the way this works and also the reason of why i say to use the vette filter is because the filter will act as a splitter. It's regulated on the inside. on one side of the filter it has one fitting that will slip onto the fuel rail. on the backside of the filter there is a high pressure fitting and a low pressure fitting. otherwise known as your "feed and return". so NO. you do NOT need an early ls1 vette rail. just disconnect the fittings at the firewall behind the block and tie into those.
