If you had 500$ to spend on a stock ls1 engine, what would you do to get the most hp? Cai? Td's?

a lil bit over bugget but there good starting mod's

all in all it can be found on here cheap from time to time

a tune alone is probally close to 30... but the hp gain isnt the big deal with a tune... its how it will move the power curve and keep it longer...

yep the tune is the most inportan part.

Seriously? I dynod a few years ago and I ran 315hp... Maybe I'll hit 370 with headers and a tune...

I'd look at nitrous. I bought a kit when my car was 100% bone stock and sprayed 150 shot.

It's a 98 camaro

this here is also a good route... might seem a lil bit more expensive at first... but once you count all the little things nitrous is the best bang for the buck... considering you can change jet sizes

I'd spend the money on headers and a tune (and not a mail order tune). As for 370rwhp, I doubt it.

I would start with headers and tune if its can fit in the budget. Long tube headers have always been a proven gainer on these cars.

Lol, it's from a movie. But I don't like nos because I don't want to have to spray just to go fast. I don't even go to the track, I just like peeling out at every light and killing mustangs. I just want 400hp the cheapest way possible n/a.

Can't just do headers, need y pipe too, and exhuast after the y. You'll need to head to the used section here.

My 99 made 340 rwhp full bolt on's Pacesetter lt's off road y pipe SLP loud moulth cat back, a ported stock tb and a tune

ebay headers an ory......find a friend or diy port your throttle body...do all the free mods. and get a tune....
