Default Strongest OEM TTY rod bolts PN 11610158?

I know not all the OEM rod bolts were created equally. The older bolts are known to be weaker than the newer. And the L33 rod bolts have been proven to the 800+ hp many times over. I’m looking to buy the same TTY rod bolts used on the L33 motors. Are all the OEM rod bolt PN’s the same and just upgraded over the years? Or are there different PN’s for each? I have no idea what year the 5.3 I’m building is, and I’ve heard the horror stories about using aftermarket hardware on the OEM rods. I’d like to just run some new factory TTY L33 series bolts. How would I go about doing this?

I see that PN 11610158 is the ls6 bolt and is said to be stronget than the pre 2000 bolts. Are these the "bolts of choice" when rebuilding?

THanks

The pre LS6 rod bolt had a different part#. I can't locate it at the moment.
I have the upgrade 11610158 bolts in my rebuild. The engine regularly sees 6500 & I'll guess that it's producing close to 400 rwhp.
They're good enough for the (conservative) 405hp LS6.

I did order a set of LS6 bolts. I also found this... (see attached)

My rod bolts have the same marking in the center but have 3 dots on them forming a triangle? I didn't pull them to see if they have the retaining sleeve. I'll do this when the new bolts arrive. I'm also running two old series pistons in this 5.3. (the ones with the cross pattern on them) They both came with the older 1 dot rod bolts as pictured.

This build will be the typical junkyard dog turbo setup. It will see upwards of 700hp.

Rod bolts aren't TTY. They can be re-used.

I did see that service letter claiming they can be reused. Guess I should have titled it TTA. My problem is I have some that I can ID and some that I can’t. So I figure I’ll replace them all with the known “strong” LS6 bolt. Hopefully they aren’t strong enough to egg-out the big ends of the rod. I’ve still seen over 700hp to the wheels through a 480LE on the old style 1 “dot” OEM rod bolts. I think it’s all about the tune and keeping the RPMS down. Boost isn’t nearly as hard on parts as RPM.

-thanks
