You also might want to look into the Manley springs.

How about 918s sold before the bad batch era? I got mine back in very late '01. I think the bad batch went out during the spring & summer of '02, correct? Just wondering if the pre-bad batch 918s are holding up ok?

Welp, more than 10k miles on em now, no problems... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Good springs for cams that don't have insane lift <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Default Comp Cam - 918 spring breakage....

I'm planning a head and cam swap and need stronger springs than stock.

Seems many are recommending the Comp Cams 918's. I read several months ago they were expereincing a lot of breakage.

Did they fix the problem or should I buy Lunati or something else?????????

..cam will probably be a TR 114 reverse split...it has a 5.60 lift i think...

It was only a bad batch, they are great now, all new 918 springs have a blue stripe on them, and ive heard of no spring breakage since.
