Default Trunion upgrade and spring swap

Just started with the Comp Cams trunion upgrade and Tooley racing valve springs and have a question.

When you use the air chuck to keep the valves up how much air pressure do you put in the cylinder ?

Next, while doing the trunion bearing updrade Comp sent me 31 of the same C-clip and one that is different. Should I contact Comp and get a replacement ? The one is a tad smaller...

Comp has issues lately. I bought my spring compressor from them last month, sealed in package and all, and it was missing both damned bolts to screw into the heads.

If you call them, they'll tell you to get with the store you bought it from. Thats what they did to me.

Got it all together and found a replacement clip at the hardware store for $.53.
22 ft lbs seem a little light for those trunnions especially since they took alot to loosen.

Comp came through and sent the replacement clip so I can replace the unknown quality hardware store one.

After it is all said and done some of the rockers don't sit perfectly centered on the top of the valve. I thought the bars that go underneath should center them. Should I loosen the off center ones and eyeball them so they are closer to center ?

I've heard Comp has QC issues many times before.

If it fits snug on the trunion and doesn't interfere with the movement of the rocker arm I don't see a problem.

I did this upgrade, but never laid the snap rings out to ensure they were all the same. They all went on without a hitch.

It would suck to have to wait around while they mailed you an off the shelf snap ring...

just my 2 cents
