Default What is this?

Got the lq4 block back from machine shop and this part was in with the bolts for the main caps. They said it goes in the back of the block, but i don't really see where it would go.

Anyone have pictures of where to install it and how?

Engine oil galley plug. You have to pull the rear cover off & there will be a hole on the lower driverside of the block.. Leave it out & you wont have any oil pressure. You can push it in by hand, ribbed non o-ring end first, the rear cover holds it into place.

Ok, thanks. Does it go in sort of over where the crank position sensor is, but obviously going into the back side under the cover?

Opposite side, crank sensor is on the pass side of the block.. The galley plug hole will be right above the lower rear cover bolt hole.
