Default how do you guys do it!!!!

I am dying to put a huge cam in my car. ie the TRex or something a bit smaller. The only problem is emissions! i live in Virginia and we have smog tests every 2 years. i dont know what the laws are in every state but I just wanted to know what some of you guys are doing to get past emissions with your big cams.

I just dont think its worth the $$$ and the work to put in a cam unless its going to put me in the 400 rwhp range. Tho other solution is a SC but thats over 5k!!!!

i just need more POWER!!!!!!!!

If you only have a test ever 2 years, just put the stock cam in for a week, every 2 years. Problem solved. A cam only swap can be done in under 2 hours, if you arent touching the springs (which you wouldnt be when going back to stock).

Just save up more money and get a 387 stroker kit. You can get one for around $4,000+install. That is expensive but i believe will pass emissions still and its just more impressive to run good times all engine.

Not that it matters, but you could garage the care in a county that doesn't require emissions.
