Default Cam only A4 help

First of all I have searched several times and found some good info., but not quite what I was wanting. I want a cam to put out great times(not worried about Dyno #'s) working with my TCI 3800 and 3.55 gears(staying with this combo for a 100 shot). I have been looking at some bigger cams like the TSP 231/237, R1 232/236, M2 228/234, T-Rex 242/248, but most of the people running them have 4400+stalls and 4.10+gears and thats not what I'm looking for. I have talked to several shops and they suggest thier own cams imagine that I have been looking at 224/224, 226/226, 228/228, and spits between those on Desktop Dyno and they don't seem to produce much different power between them. Only problem is it shows power, but you can't get a real idea what it will do at the track.
I need some help guys Please
Thanks, Richard

I have a 224/224 and I wish I would have gone bigger. I still like my cam and it made a pretty good difference in power. I am the typical person that is never satisfied with the amount of power that I have. I always wish I had a little more.
