Default Cam/head/intake combo

Hello, had a few questions concerning my build if anyone has advice it would be greatly appreciated. Just bought a brute speed forced induction cam (Lift .595 int .608 exh) and was wondering what type of heads and intake would be best supported to go along with it. (plan on procharging the car down the road).

also looking at:
Lunati Gold Dual Valve Spring Kit .660 lift Springs
Slp double-roller timing chain

still looking at rocker arms/pushrods/lifters

Any help or suggestions will be very helpful!

Thanks for the order! What are your horsepower goals down the road, this will dictate how much money to spend on the heads? Bob

I am sure I could look up the cam based on the lift specs but the fact you listed a cam specs by lift rather than the much more important duration says YOU are not ready for this.
Then the fact you picked a cam before heads further backs up that point.
As does the fact you chose springs already.

Which heads you choose should affect what cam you choose and depending what you buy heads might be available or already setup with springs.

Most aftermarket heads have bronze guides which require aftermarket rockers or extra machining to have PM guides put in so you can use stock rockers.

This might be a bit premature on my part but given this is your first post and all the things I see wrong in planning already my advise would be to slow down and do a lot more research before you continue.

Stock rockers with a cheap trunnion upgrade work very well if you are going to run say a ported GM head which can work VERY well despite the fact most guys have a blind hardon for aftermarket heads.

Have you considered things like tranny, axle and fuel system upgrades? You already have full exhaust and such to support a cam?

how much boost you plan on running ?mite consider a BBK alum intake, they sell for $300 used.look at TSP for heads, consider a after market casting with a thicker deck. .the trick flow head has a thicker deck then a stock GM casting.a AFR has a thicker deck then a trick flow.

I have a full exhaust for the time being adding a torque converter. Just had an idea for spring was planning on porting 243 heads and using a 92mm fast intake

The thicker deck doesn't come into play until aiming very high, look at what some of the guys are doing with stock engines.

You should be able to accomplish that power goal with low/pump gas friendly
boost levels....8-9 psi. This link is a new and price effective way to get the
flow and reliability needed in a boost application.
