AI 232cc 243 Heads
Anyone have this setup on their car? I was interested in one of their CNC programs but was wondering if how much is too much for an application?
"This is a slightly larger version of our 226cc CNC work that has consistently outperformed other CNC'd GM castings on the market, as well as most aftermarket casting based heads. The 226cc work being only slightly larger than the as cast port, would often leave some areas in the intake port untouched by the CNC cutting tool. While this is aesthetic and does not negatively affect performance, this slightly larger version will minimize or eliminate these areas of "non-cleanup." Most applications will not be negatively affected by the slightly larger intake port, and LS2's & strokers will pick up another few HP over the standard 226cc CNC work."

Honestly....Building up an LS1 seems like history repeating it self. This reminds me so much of the SBC / BBC debate.
For what people are spending for kick azz heads for a LS1 (Yes AI is Expensive), you get basically the same results with the 6.2 LY6/LS3 heads for less money.
If you looking to this extreme for all out performance, I would go for more cubes and better heads.

I know GM puts them on 364 and 376" engines but the torque management
TB modulation helps create port speed at low rpms. A cathedral runner tends
to make more average torque throughout the power band;which moves weight
