Default Thoughts on this CAM

FMS: 226"/226" .575"/.575" 114LSA

Right now I'm hitting around 352RWHP. That's with FIPK/FLP-LTS/PORTED TB/TUNE.

I'm trying to find a cam that will get me in the 390-400 range w/o sacrificing a smooth idle. If it's possible. I don't mind a semi aggresive idle, but I don't want it too rough. This is my daily driver.

That duration in the "aggresive LOPE" range? Am I gonna have to step down to a 224?

Do you have a A4 or a M6? That will determine if you get close to those hp numbers.

I don't think you will have to worry about a radical idle with that cam. You should get what you want with it.

Well I'm not really aiming for "stock" idle. I don't mind it idling a little rougher than stock. I just don't want it super aggresive. I am running an M6 so there's some advantage making numbers. Hopefully I'll be able to run into someone with a similar CAM.

I used to run a 226/226 .570/.570 114 Xtreme RPM. Made in the 390s with an A4/PYE3400 and a set of $500 ported LS1 heads.

Wouldn't do it again, though.

I know we're PM. For the threads sake, why wouldn't you?

For the way I had my car set up, it wasn't a good cam. I made the power, just couldn't stay in the range.
