Default How much lift can you run?

My new engine combo is running a .588/.598 lift XE-R with 1.75 Comp Pro Magnum rockers.I changed from Yella Terras because I was worried about getting proper lifter preload.I called TEA and verified that my valvesprings were setup to accommadate .670 lift with Comp 978s set at 1.80 installed height. When I do the math with the 1.75 rocker ratio my valve lift calculates to .605/.616 is this to much lift for the street? My engine is a 408 with forged internal with a intercooled roots supercharger.Has anyone run this much lift in a daily driver?

Default

That is decent lift for a 408 street car, i've seen MUCH more in a daily driven setup without problems.

W/ the 978's, just make sure you give the motor/springs proper warm up time before taking it out on the road and beating on it. I recommend 2-3 heat cycles before even driving the car. Just extra insurance to help make parts last.
