Default PRC .650 springs with MS4

I talked to the guys over at Texas Speed & Performance before purchasing my PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L heads and told them I was running the MS4 cam. The heads come standard with the .650 springs but you could upgrade to the .675 springs for another 40 bucks. They never recommended upgrading to the 675 springs but I'm starting to see posts about using the .675's with the MS4 for longer valve spring life. The MS4 has .649/.609 valve lift. If this is true I definetly would have spent the extra 40 bucks. Anybody run into this situation?

if the longer life and durability of the .675s is true, which i would hold it to be since they are sold by TSP, then whats another 40 bucks? i tend to believe you get what you pay for

with a cam like that your eventually gonna have to change springs anyway and if you dont you will have bigger problems. Id run them until its time for new ones then swap to the better ones.If you decide to change them now you could always sell the .650s and recoupe some change

What rockers?

I would worry more about that then the spring life.

I'm been running stock rockers and the .650 springs for 4 or more years without any problems at all. But I only put 1500 miles on mine a year and basically just run it at the strip on T&T and Sunday around town.
