porting and port matching is 2 different things, intake holes in the intake mani are usually bigger than the intake ports on the head, for optimal airflow the intake ports on the head should match the intake holes in the mani,

You have that reversed. The intake is usually smaller. You can open it up so there's no turbulence.
The FAST matches pretty well to stock heads, but any aftermarket ones and you might look at a port match. I don't think porting it is worth a whole lot of HP on those despite what is said - certainly not 10HP. Most of the HP comes from matching to the ports on the head and that might be worth 5-7HP. Not necessary but a way to eek out every last drop of power.

Ive pretty much decided on the cam and now I have to choose the heads that will yield the most horsepower. Im down to PRC 225/227 or TFS 220/215/225

Thanks to eveyone on here who gave me some direction but after calling everyone you have told me too plus a few others ive decided on some 225 aftermaket heads then ill port/polish and then shave/mill them. Ive also decided narrowed it down to 2 of the biggest recommended cams. Any recommendations on which you think would or wouldnt be better is appreciated.
The cams are=
1. 239/242 649/609 +114ls
2. 235/243 621/624 +113ls
WHICH ONE?

If you go "too small" you still enjoy the car just want a bit more. Seen a lot of guys go "too big" and not like compromised manners, or the rest of the car can't use the rpm needed and the car is not as quick as it could be and those things take the fun out and I have seen it more than once where once someone fails to enjoy a setup they lose interest.
