Default Question for you motor gurus

I have beand new Diamond pistons....size 3.905 bore for a 6.125 rod and eagle 6.125 rods that I was going to use with my STOCK crank.

My friend will sell me his lunati 383 kit dirt cheap but the compression is 8.5:1
...... Lunati LS1 383 Rotating Assembly, 3.903" Bore, 4.000" Stroke, 6.125" Rod Length

My question is that I would like to use the Lunati crank and rods and get the block honed and put in the Diamonds....and put the Lunati low compression pistons in the other bloack with the eagle 6.125 rods and stock crank....WILL THIS WORK? and would my engine size change since Im putting in the 3.905 bore pistons?

No the 383 pin height is higher than 346" piston requirement so they wont sawp with each set up, sorry.

to run a stroker crank. you need a pin height on the piston raised to accomodate it. I you install your pistons on that crank...they'll stick WAY out of the bores
