Stock lifter trays
Stock lifter trays I'm rebuilding my LS1 with whats listed in my sig. I'm a little concerned about reusing the stock lifter trays. Does anybody have any input about the reliability of the stock lifter trays?

If you are in doubt, pay for new ones. If you are concerned and don't do it, your going to be kicking your self. You have the heads off, just do it now.
I would buy link bar lifters before I dared to drill holes in retainers.

i've re used mine many of times. drill them out also. probably almost a quart of oil those trays will hold total that can't drain back to the pain quickly. I've had no problem with them drilled out and this is a 1000+hp motor
