LS3 needs less overlap because of reversion. I'd probably do something in the 226/230 112 range. The heads flow so much you don't need much duration or overlap to make big power. You don't need much split either (despite the fact that the I/E ratio is horrible on them too - but the intake flows so much and the exhaust port isn't terrible, but overlap sensitivity becomes more of an issue than exhaust duration crutch).

You could do LXL/LXL 226/230 .605"/.609" 112+2.

Most are doing 10 to as much as 15 split favored to the exhaust. But you say you only need 4 , like to see how your cam spec above performs compared to those big split cams on LS3 heads.

SpinMonster on CorvetteForum has been a huge proponent of using less split and overlap. His 230/234 114+2 makes 500rwhp in an LS3 and drives much nicer than the huge cams that barely outpower it.

He has tested much larger splits and more overlap. He hasn't seen any additional power due to the reversion created by additional overlap.

just saw this post. im currently running a 01 LQ4 with stock 317s(9.4:1 CR) with a 3 angle valve job in my 98 firebird. here's my current setup and i plan on beefing up the trans when going FI in the near future:
double roller timing chain w/ported oil pump
lunati voodoo 232/236 .599/.601 with lunati dual springs
slp LT
LS6 intake manifold
SLP lid
stock 4l60e
12 bolt rearend 3.73 w/3200 stall
tuned via hp tuners

only had it ran once at the track(cecil county dragway) shifting early at 6K RPMs(its now shifting around 62-6300RPM) with a crappy 2.25 sixty 12.8@113.7mph(114 lol). i imagine can squeeze another 1-2mph now with better prep. this was on 93oct and weight w/driver 3640.
no dyno numbers but i imagine its b/t 350-380rwhp considering the setup and trap
