CAI Question???
CAI Question??? I recently bought a 98 TA, stock except for a Volant CAI. I really dont like the looks of it. Would it be an even trade if I put out an ad here or CL to trade my Volant CAI for a lid setup? I like the looks of a stock setup, this one just screams for attention, I think the dual air filters is overkill. Do they perform the same? This may be the beginning of many questions if I decide to start getting crazy with this car. My LT1 Camaro has me burned out though, lol.
prepare to lose some overall hp going back to stock intake vs the volant.if you dont like the looks but like the performance the car has now..keep you hood closed lol.or shop around for bigger lids that will flow the same or better than the volant that will have a more factory look without decreasing flow.
I was thinking more of an SLP lid trade. Also after posting this maybe it should be in the newbie section, but Ill take the responses. It might be possible that someone with a lid setup might like the looks of this CAI, no?
