Step up and get the tr230. That cam rocks man... I drove daily on that cam for over a year. I think you would see a good 12-15 hp gain going with the tr230. Why leave anything out on the table.

Good luck with the new heads

Yeah but those #'s you posted weren't the #'s through the intake manifold. Jay has some of the strongest #'s through the manifold compared to anyone I've seen and the #'s you posted blow the doors off his usual #'s.

Now that i look at em. My numbers are better than his new heads. But I did get a set he was doing for someone else way back when. As far as I know mine are with stock valve sizes as well

I looked at his site and my numbers are actually a little better in spots than his stage 2.5 heads :woot:

Actually he just put the Stage 2.5 section up. The heads I got were actually supposed to be for a another guy he'd been waiting for the payment. Seems he did something special maybe. I kinda bitched cause I was waiting and had already paid. He decided to just send me those and do another set for the guy :dunno:

I just saw a set of heads flow that he did for jerflash. They were stage 2.5 5.3 heads and @ 600 they flowed 315. through an ls6 intake it flowed 289. His ls6 stage 2.5 heads flow around 320 @ 600 and they flow around 300 through an ls6 intake.

His usual numbers through the ls6 manifold with ls1 heads (5.3/5.7) aren't even close to these #'s that were posted above. I think it's fair to say that the numbers posted are about 20cfm higher than most of Absolutes flow sheets I've seen through the intake manifold.

Please show me my ignorance and show me a set of his 5.3L heads that flows over 300cfm at .550 lift and close to 310cfm at .575-.600 lift through the intake manifold

550 302 224
575 308 226
