I would talk to AI about that. Ive also read from Phil@AI that for a 346 theres not a whole lot to gain with the 232 over the 226.

i am a firm believer in ported ls6 heads but you have to realize to thats it for those heads once they are ported. If you have no further plans for the car then this then go with the ls6 heads but if you plan on doing bigger things down the road go aftermarket and go with the trickflows. A good ported ls6 head flows around the same as the trickflow head out of the box but the trickflow heads can then be ported and tweaked to make killer power for the future. I like to buy things once and be done. Id rather not waste the money if im only going to want the trickflows in the future to make more power but thats my .02 just a thought for you

Don't get warpped up in peak flow #'s. If you only have XX amount of dalloars and budget heads are what you can afford then they are a great option. If you can afford the extra $$ it is hard to beat the AFR or Trickflow heads. They almost always make more average power and even better peak in most cases. (<<Disclaimer I would say 99% of the time)

We have a customer with a C5Vette, stock ci, obx headers, MS3 cam, and trickflow heads. Stock gearing 3k stall. The car runs 11.0X like clockwork. The car dynoed 421 RWHP. PEAK numbers are decieving as are dyno numbers sometimes. AVERAGE power is where it is at.

Hand ported 243's here w/ a G5x2 Cam and I hit 404 rwhp......

Would there be a better gain to not mill 243 heads and just get a bigger cam or mill with a milder cam
