Pushrod Length Suggestion

Hey guys Im running a 5.3 Lm7 , stock heads have been milled .030 to 58cc with ls7 lifters anyone run anything similar that can suggest a pushrod length?

LM7 here too with 799 heads milled 0.022" and LS7 lifters, I'm using 7.325" pushrods for ~0.075" preload. With the stock heads and LS7 lifters I used 7.350" pushrods. Always best to measure!

I suggest you buy a $20 checker and be sure and get it right. Sometimes you may need several different lengths.

Try .025 shorter after checking your 7.400s first.

Don't "try" anything. Measure so you know for sure.

i tried measuring today and came up with a base length of 7.325???? so if i use a .075 preload that puts me at a 7.4 pushrod length?? i thought for sure theyd be shorter

That's too much preload.. .050 is a good middle of the road.. At most 60
