Default I talked to 3 sponsers...4 cam options to choose from. What would you do?

I'd like to see what your opinions/experience with these choices..As I'm not sure of which one to get.

My car: 99 TA.. A4.. full exhaust with duals..3.73s & 4k stall (stock heads)

What I told all 3 sponsers I was looking for: I'll only be dd this car for another year, then it will be a weekend car with still a bit of cruising.

I don't want it to be so big thats it's a bitch to drive around town, and I don't want to lose ALL my low-end torque. BUT...I don't want to kick myself in a couple years wishing I'd of went bigger. So I'm kinda leaning toward the bigger side so to speak. I can lose alittle low-end but not all.
I don't drag it..though I will maybe once a year to get some times
I do alot of spirited driving as alot of us do/ I love turning heads.
Its gotta be FKING LOUD AND LOOPY as it can. I've heard a 224/224 not impressed. I've also heard the polluter and love that nasty tone.

Cams to choose from: TV3-231/234 .643/598 on a 112
SNS-231/235 | .61x"/.62x" | LSA111+2
233/239 .595"/.603" on a 112
235/243 | .62x"/.62x" | LSA111+2
Essentially I'd like the loudest setup (with my duals) most under the curve torque with minimal valvespring wear, but I doubt I can get all 3 without some sacrificing. Alittle help would be much appreciated.

Based on the specs alone the last one looks like it will sound the meanest.

I daily'd a Futral Motorsports 228/230 and it was a great came. Eventually built the motor and changed cams along with making the car just a Sunday car. The 233/239 cams looks appealing.

I vote for the SNS as the ultimate compromise for the sound and powerband
you seek with DD manners till it becomes a weekend warrior.

The dumbest thing to do is buying a cam just for sound.Pick a cam that works best for what you're building.

sns and last one look the best to me. the sns is a great cam and always seems to perform well.
Do you plan on doing heads in the future? if so id pick the last one, it will just compliment them even more down the road, either way i dont think you could go wrong with them choices.

If all these cams were in a box with no lable on each I would just grab one and put it in. 235/243 - or get an ms4. or go bigger.

I want the car to sound like it has no street manners, but still have it fully street capability. GL with that. You probably won't even notice a drop in low end power with a 4k stall and 3.73 gears. Where is the "low end" anyway .

I'd never just pick a cam for sound..
Though options for a harder thump/chop are available. I probably will do heads down the roaf but not in the near future. Sorry if my description of what I want is alittle out of whack but I lack knowledge their of on cams. Though I have been reading NON-STOP.

I myself was leaning toward the SNS as it seems on the higher side of the happy middle. With an that loud choppy idle that I gotta have in my life, and it doesn't sacrifice too much low-end, and has great mid-upper torque.

Low end is low end right?? Not having to Rev to 4000+ to get hauling. Better throttle response/lower rpm to get hauling ***. That's was my interpretation of it.

Most think that going bigger on the cam will compliment a set of heads down
the road when the truth of the matter is that the better the cylinder head is:
the less cam is needed to make the desired power. The reason the factory
has gone to vvt is that there is no perfect cam from idle to 7000. There is
always a compromise to be made; however the SNS will be the right one 4ya

233/239!!! I've always liked that cam,and that's prolly the biggest cam I would run in a daily driver.

I think the 233/239 would be.worth it if I was doing heads within a year or 2. But I've got some newer bigger wheels to put on, and a
9/12 rear and whatever else pops up. The threads I've read (which is a lot now) everyone states that the 233/239 can be somewhat of a pig in the lower rpm range, and that it loves the higher rpms. While the sns has a lot of under the curve power and doesn't sacrifice hardly any top end. And honestly, blasting through town with very minimal low end torque doesn't sound like " fun". But maybe my lack of knowledge and perception of this cam are just way off.
It is still a toss up between the 2 still. TSPs 233/239 and Martins 231/235.

.
It depends on the exhaust though. A tame exhaust can really quiet down the lope. I heard 224 w/ cut out and it sounded mean. Ill vote T3 cam for ya.

IMO, get the Tick "SNS" torqueMAX Stage 3, but get it in the milder version (234/242 111lsa+2) for decreased valve train wear over all your other possible cam choices. I believe it uses Comp LXL lobes.

I'm not sure why I've been over looking this one. I'm gonna have to talk to Martin again.

I vote the last one. that stall gear combo will eat up most if not all of the "drive ability" issues. assuming a proper tune of course.

I've personally ridden in a V3 car a bunch of times and it hauled.

1 or 3

2 is getting into a high enough lift I would be more concerned with valve spring life and replacement and the 4th is too big for a car I would be driving a lot
