At what CID/ compression/ HP should I step from TR-6 plug to a BR7efs plug? I'm at 451 CID, 12:1 comp, with right at 650 crank hp. N/A.

There is no downside to running a colder plug, I run a non projected NGK 8 in my stuff NA on E85, my old motor was 12.9 compression 346cid. Switching from a tr6 to the 8 allowed me to add 2-3* of timing everywhere and pick up power

Ok, thanks. I'm going to start it up tomorrow. I'm going to take the tr6's out and put in the br7's.

There is no downside to a colder plug ,,,,,, but an 8 is probably as cold as You could go without it not burning the fuel/air completely
