Talking TR224 Question...

Hey im planning on putting in the TR224 in a 99 6spd and I was wondering if I will need to tune it right away after install or if I would be able to put it off a few weeks. The car is a daily driver and I dont have time to tune it out right away.
Thanks in advance.

since your are M6 you just need to increase the throttle body hole to get you around till you tune it.
If you want the max power out of your cam then the car must be tuned.

Ya I plan on tuning it eventually, just not right away. So I will have to drill the TB? Would drilling also be required for the TR220?
Thanks again.

I have the TR224/114 cam and no drilling in TB and the car has like stock manners once at operating temp.

Yeah I ran the TR224-112 on my 1999 M6 for months without tuning, no real probs. It doesnt have the best idle untill it warmed up, otherwise it was fine

I ran mine for a few weeks w/o tuning and w/o drilling the TB either. Just let it warm up
when you first start it and you'll be fine.
