another P0300 Issue
now the car is back to stock besides double beehive valve springs and slp catback.
long story short , i have had the p0300 issue ever since i went back to stock and i cant pass ref.
i have done a pcm reset , i have checked all vacuum lines , pcv ok , all cylinders are getting spark , coils all pass. replaced both 02s before cat.
i have come to realize that it ONLY throws the p0300 at idle ... if i hold the rpms at 1000 , it will not throw the code and it sounds perfectly fine.
my guess now is possible injectors ? or out of the blue when i had the ms4 as a temp idle solution which i now regret was drilling a larger hole in the TB blade... would that larger hole give me a issue now ? or should i be checking elsewhere .
any other suggestions are gladly welcome ! i want to solve this stupid code
anyway . im updating that i have solved my issue ! after throwing money at the problem , while removing the fuel rail i found one of those blue seals that go on the top on the injector (where the harness plugs in ) ...i found that seal sandwiched in between the injector and intake manifold on cylinder #8 ... when i put the fuel fail on last i must have knocked it in there and not seen it since it was in the back ..
it drove me nuts ! but just goes to show you , trace back your steps and think of every possibility in these situations ! hope my experience might help someone !
