Hey all
I have my heads off to put on ls9 head gaskets and head studs . Funding for my project probably isnt gonna let me do a camshaft right now.( maybe but most likely wont get a cam for a while) Since my heads are off would it be feasible to put on some springs to handle a cam swap in the future ? Would there be to much spring pressure for a stock cam?

Also , with as many choices as there are with camshafts , You really need to know which cam You're going to use , then decide on springs that will work well with that lift #

Heads are already off, install studs and gaskets and run the heads as they are. Deal with the springs another day. Won't have to deal with the hardware later on at least.
