cam suggestions

got the car with this

224/224 112 lsa .591
prc stg 1 ls6 .650 dual s.
longtubes full 3 inch exhaust
78mm fast PP TB
M6 with 410s

previous owner stated car made 398rwhp with cam only before the heads so i know i can get more power with a better cam i was thinking an ms4 something big like that

i want power and tq dont care about rough idle or drive ability if anyone has good suggestion and experiences help me out

If u don't care about drive ability or idle get the trex cam it has the record for cam only power

That is kinda low power for such a combo on M6.
I would redyno somewhere else to get a clearer idea first.

contrary to what is usually said on this board, that little cam combo is pretty stout, you have good power throughout the rpm range with it. I agree to get it re dynoed and tune checked and see where youre at.

398 rwhp is low for a cam only car with a 224/224 cam??? Not where I'm from.

Not exactly sure why people are saying this is low. I have the 224/224, 243 heads, LTH, Ory and I'm putting 370 rwh. Car pulls really dang hard in the upper RPM's. Granted I'm a 98, so I don't have the LS6 intake.

Guys, he said he made 398rw B4 the heads. So his numbers are quite good if that's true. Seems like that was overlooked

I am running a texas speed 228r with a 114 LSA and it pulls very nicly mid to high rpms and its peak horsepower isnt too high so you dont have to worry about the stock bottom end.
