Default good cam?

Hello all,
Like the title says basically is this a decent N/A cam for stock bottom end and intake? I dont know much about solid roller cams so hoping you all can help me.

The cam specs are;
Duration - 294 intake 304 exhaust
Duration @ 50 - 264 int.272 ex.
Lobe lift - .414 int. .414 ex.
Lobe separation - 110

Also what would the rpm range be approx if applicable?
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but I was always told to ask questions if you dont know the answer.
Thanks
Jessie

What cam is that?

Are you reading that off the cam card?

Yes read directly off cam card its a custom grind and I have springs and lifters for it but got it for a price I couldnt pass up. I have 852 truck heads plan to port but not for this season.
The cam is from comp but other than that like I said dont know much about roller cams so I dont know what kind of idle id be looking at. Possible streetability or rpm range on cam. I got it for my truck for street and pro truck series but id still like to be able to take it around town every once in a while on the weekends but not have it damage anything engine wise or load up at idle.
Thanks for the quick responses

Well, a solid roller acts much smaller than a hydraulic, so you can take like 8-10 degrees off the duration. But even then, it's a humongous cam.

That'd be an awesome cam for a 400+cid

where we're those lift measurements taken?

hard to believe a solid roller cam only boasting .4xx lift. most with 260+ dur are more like 700

Lobe lift... not valve lift. XE-R by comparison is .340-.360" so it's more aggressive than XE-R by quite a bit.

Ok so race only it is lol. What do you think the rpm range would be and also would it be good with nitrous?

5000-8000 assuming you have heads that can flow like mad crazy and an intake that can support it. Small bore LS3 from MAST type heads with LS3 Victor intake...

And I don't think it'd love nitrous. It has a ton of overlap for that small of displacement.

Well crap. Thank you so much for the advice and knowledge very helpful. Unfortunately looks like I have no use for it...

New question what would be the best cam for performance but still streetable. As in not hurting the cam by low rpms for around town? With stock bottom end 852 heads ported with 2.0 intake valves spring upgrade and ls6 intake?

I love my EPS 226/234 cam. Screams throughout the entire RPM range with buttloads of torque. Street manors are awesome as well.

JLC, please do not take his the wrong way, but you need to educate yourself a bit more before you buy anything.
Or find a vendor you trust and follow their recommendations.

I run a comp cams lsr-273 and it runs great. But its in a m6 lq9 camaro so the cubes calms it down some. The tr-224 cam is a great dd cam. Puts down consistant power and doesn't much for support

I fully understand what you mean. And thanks for the constructive criticism. I have been reading up on roller cams and learning more about them.
