Default Oil Pump O-ring

Everyone talks about this Oil pump O-ring. Where is this Oil pump O-ring at. Is this the O-ring that goes on the oil pick up piece that bolts to the oil pump. Just installed new engine have no oil pressure.

Yup, blue o-ring that installs onto the pickup tube (first ridge, not past it) and seals the tube to the oil pump when you bolt them together.

Where'd you put yours?

Yep thats where I put it. I have no oil pressure, and no cooling temp. Does anyone have a pic of the wiring on the driver side of the motor. around the cooling temp sensor. cannot find wiring for it.

You have to make sure that o-ring is not pinched. that can cause no oil pressure also. If you needed the bolt to get the pickup tube up into the pump, chances are you pinched it.

Do you just need to know where the sensor goes? The wiring for the sensor is the only wire that I can think of that comes off the driver's side.

Bought the sensor is has 2 prongs. The only wire and the area not being used is a three prong. Does not make sense ???????
