Default TFS 215 vrx4 results***

After a lot of reading and comparing I have decided to go with tfs 215 milled to 59 cc and port match my fast 102. I will be using my current cam cam VRX4. My current mod list is as follows:
vrx4 228 230 .588 .592
ud pulley
stock ls6 intake
p/p stock tb
hawks long tube with magnaflow cb
4l60e yank ss3600
It made 367 rwhp and ran a best of 11.62 @117 with 18" z06 all around on nitro 555r's

New adds are as follow:
tfs 215 milled 59cc
stock rockers with trunion upgrade
fast 102 port matched
either a 92 or 102 th
cutout

I hope to be running 11.0X with some better wheels. I will post a dyno graph once the install is complete.

Last but not least I would like to thank Mike at TEA. He was great to deal with. He answered all of my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend giving them a call when looking for heads.

I finished the build this weekend and scheduled a tune at RPM for the 28th.

im so curious to see what those heads produce with that "smaller" cam. I personally really like that cam and i love the trickflow heads and i do feel you should be very happy with this setup. please keep this updated and show what a good cam and heads produce

Yeah, i was thinking about going with the 92. from what i have read the 102 has drivability and tuning issues with a 346. Ill be sure to update when I get it tuned. What do you think itll put down?

I could see you putting down mid 400s + all day. I have a similar setup with a slightly larger cam, same heads milled to 59cc, fast 92 setup ect except its an m6 car through a. MWC 9 inch. The car should be up and running here in the next month or two so ill keep you posted on what I put down and how she drives. Should be a stout setup up for sure though don't worry!

If it made 367 before it should break 400 after those mods.
Low 11's would be sweet.

I would be interested in your numbers, I have the same heads but a bit bigger cam.

Can you let me know what length push rods you end up with?

I got more or less the same build as you TFS 220cc heads from Vengance and VRX5 cam and made 400rwhp.

You will be happy, great heads! As far as the TB go with a 90-92, I tried the 102 poor drivability and only gained 5-8hp. In progress now on a ls2 402 build with them opened up to 4.0" bore.

The key is getting the powdered metal guides. I have been running the stock rockers with the trunion upgrade also, no issues.

That is what I am hoping for. I hope to break the 10 sec mark. I will most likely do some weight reduction too (at least lighter wheels). I will have almost the exact set up as he has. My cam is a .588/ .592 228/230 vs his .588/.588 228/228 and he has a fast92 and I will be using a 102. same stall and he put down 442. Oh I will be using the same tuner.

Ill keep you updated. I should start putting it back together as soon as I get the heads in.

I also got a great deal on a brand new PTM 102 and 100mm MAF so I am going to give it a try.
