I'm also running the Yella Terra Non Adj Shaft Mounted Roller Rockers. I bought them when I upgraded to the TR224 as a safety precaution as I didn't want needle bearings circulating inside my LS1. They fit perfect under the stock valvecover with no modifications needed. After install I noticed the valvetrain was much quieter than with the stock rockers and it did rev quicker. As to power gain? Well I couldn't feel any other than the quieter motor and faster reving engine.

What would cause the engine to "rev" quicker? If it added 5 RWHP (which would be just better than a 1% increase in the case of a 400 RWHP engine) do you think you could actually feel it rev quicker?

The "butt-dyno" causes more problems that anything.

As you were stating Colonel, 1-2mph is well within standard variations. People tend to give credit to anything that they want to believe. If you spent $400 on a set of rocker arms, you really want to believe that it helped or changed something significantly.

If I had 10 RWHP for everytime my but told me I did, my '02 would be in the 8s and my '00 would be running 6s by now!

Yup.

Not to mention the whole louder=faster problem.

Colonel...I understand what your saying and maybe the better word to use would be the engine seemed to rev "smoother" than with the stock rockers. The addition of the YT's did noticeably quiet the sewing machine sound associated with Cammed LS1s so probably the feeling of the engine reving quicker came from that increased quietness. As to a power gain, I felt none but I now don't have to worry about the needle bearings circulating inside my engine. Thats well worth the price for me.

Just more expensive.

I'll never argue with replacing a timing chain when you're already in the motor. Costs about $100 and it is a no-brainer.
