5.3L Cam Selection

5.3L Cam Selection
Hello, looking for some help to identify a cam for my setup, dropped an LM7 into my 1967 convertible Camaro. Here's the details:
-5.3L with 862 heads
-Stock intake replaced with Professional Products Power+Plus Typhoon (52061) w/85mm inlet
-1 5/8" mid length headers into what apears to be 3.5" or 4" collectors into 2" true dual exhaust
-4l60e transmission
-Torque Converter rating unknown, assuming stock at this point
-10 bolt rear with 2:73 diff (not verified, but is stamped PW1013G on passenger axle tube)
I read some of the sticky info about maximizing torque yet still retaining high end performance, where the op was using afr225's on a 5.7L and "torque cam" 224/228 on 110 (+0)LSA, 921 springs shimmed to within .05 of coil bind. Given my engine is a few cubes smaller, i'd think i would have to go smaller but i think i read in there that it would still be a good choice for stock engine? Given my budget, not much of my specs would be changed ie rear end gears and torque converter are there to stay. This car would be used for daily driving, and i'd like to have great throttle response.
Thanks,
Alan

I like Tick cams too, but I'm leaning towards the street heat stage 1, it might be better in a 5.3.

But, if you are locked into the stock rear gears and converter, you'll need a smaller cam. Maybe the Comp Cams 212/218 low lift like the 5.3 truck guys use. You can use LS6 springs with that cam.
