I believe TSP recommends their PRC 5.3s over the LS6 casting for that cam. Either will work

Solid heads. Can't mill much with the MS3. For $100 more you can get their PRC As Cast 225. You could then run more compression and make more power.

If you are gonna get the MS3, you should just go ahead and get the MS4. It will have the same peak power if not a little more and will have more low to mid range than the MS3. 470+ rwhp is certainly attainable, depending on your other mods. I agree with the above post, I would also consider the prc 225 as-cast head. 30rwhp over a stock ls6 in a cammed z06. There is a thread around somewhere wiith the graphs I think.

What length pushrods you all running with the heads and ms4 or whatever setup you may have? id like to buy everything in one shot, not buy tools and then order pushrods... basically im asking someone to give me a good solid budget setup with what kinda numbers I could expect in the end.. just looking for good chop and globs of power, dont care about driveability, its turned into a weekend car

I have the ms3 and prc 2.5 ls6 combo, but haven't had it tuned and dynoed yet.
hit 389whp with stock 241 heads and ls6 intake (on my m6).

Buddies SS has same combo with fast intake in an automatic. Made 435whp.

With that being said, im hoping for 450whp (with bbk intake) after tune

For just about the same money you can get the TSP as cast 225s that are superior to the stg 2.5 LS6 heads. Thicker deck, flow more, bigger valves etc etc. I talked to Aaron at TSP recently about the two heads, he said the As cast 225s are definetly the way to go if you can swing the 100 dollar difference. You might wanna check their website, I think they may be the same price now if you get the 225s with .650 beehives, although with an MS3 id spent the extra 100 bucks and get the .650 duals.

Yeah, I dont mind spending the extra, just want the correct setup, what length pushrods you running? did you change to LS7 lifters when you did your swap?

BBK intake... blahhhh

get the TSP 225 heads with a torquer v2 cam .you need 2.5 5.3 heads with a ms3 cam.the ms3 has too radical of timing events for a killer street combo.

ok, on the site now... are the pushrod lengths different in all engines? or a set of 7.4s gonna work okay or just call TSP?

With this particular combo it does require a longer pushrod because of the aftermarket PRC cylinder head design. We always suggest customers measure but with this setup we typically recommend a 7.450 for the guys who want to go ahead and order a set of pushrods.

THe ms4 beats the hell out of springs and only makes a few more hp. If you want to keep the hood down go ms3. I drove my ms3 car 30k miles
