SCAT Pro Comp I- beams Anyone running these rods in their 408LS ?? Part #26125716 It'sa NA motor no spray ,, Street abuse only,, Opinions ??

I've used Scat rods before, never had a problem with them, plus they are cheaper that the Eagle rods, which are still forged in China. IMHO, it depends on what you are doing with the motor, spinning it to 8K, get better rods. Only pushing max 7k, Scat's will be fine. Hell, i've pushed the old SBC "pink" rods to 7800 without any issues, just ARP bolts.

Those are damned good rods, modelled after the Lunati ProMod, probably the best bang for the buck when it comes to rods. I've run 'em in small and big block with zero complaints.
There's a lot of cheap Chinese crap out there, Scat ain't part of it. Even their parts that are cast overseas are finish machined here. Scat named these ProComp before the junk **** ProComp company got going good. Unfortunate choice of names on their part, though.

Horspower rating. weight, stroker clearance..finished in Ca...$$$$$,, I'm winning over,,, Damn if stock rods in the Hot rod Magazine,, Turbo 4.8l,stayed together,,, Sure the hell 600hp /NA, will stay together with the right machine shop ??? Has anyone seen the past issues of the Hot Rod Magazine Ebay turbo build??
There's nothing wrong with them rods. I had the Scat ProComps in a 500hp Gen1 sbc and they held up perfectly fine. Most people see the name "ProComp" and and assume they are from the company ProComp even though it says Scat. I would put them in and not worry, just make sure they have ARP rod bolts in them.
