Well... IT STARTED! I was thinking outside the box... and noticed my transmission linkage bracket looked bent. The car was in park in the console, but when I took the **** of the linkage off, it was not allowing the transmission to be fully engaged into part. Sure enough it clicked up into park... In other words, the car was saying it was ok to start because it was in the "P" position, when really it was not in park on the trans. It was trying to start in reverse. So I cranked it and VROOM! So, now it just needs a tune and its ready to go break in. Thanks for everyone's input.

When the one bank started, the trans must have been right on the edge of park.
I can't tell you how many times this kind of thing happened to me.

I was so glad that was all it was! Not to mention even thinking about that... regardless the drivers side coil harness was wrong to begin with, so at least I got that figured out. and a few new parts came out of this. We have some crazy snow right now, so hopefully I can get out and drive it next week.

What kind of HP you expect to make after the rebuild?

I have nearly the same car, albeit 2002, and missing the cam/heads.

I know I will need a rebuild in 30k miles or so...

I am hoping to crank out at least 370 rwhp, but I have seen the same set ups push 360-400. I just hope to be in that range really. With the A4 and 3600 stall I couldn't give a good answer till it happens.
