yea true on your part, I plan cam, heads, and nitrous. I want to say the crank would hold up to that

crank will hold, the TSP kit is nice plus it comes balanced already so that saves you $200 at a shop

i'll think about my options, I don't plan on doing this build that soon because on top of this I am doing the v6 to v8 swap. needed a good comute car

yikes the v6 to v8 car is involved... what year car? whats the miles and whats it worth as it sits?

99 Camaro about 136k I want to say maybe 3-4k could be overkill

well you might hate me for saying this but it might be better to sell it for 3-4k and get in to a car that already has a v8...

You can pick up a 98-99 z28 for 4-5k

the v6 to v8 swap will cost you more money and time than just starting with the v8 platform because your going to have to change alot of stuff out to run the v8...

I have thought on that believe me, but im in no rush I have like a year to do it. and I do look on the side to see if I can pick up a good deal on a v8 car

yeah try searching v6 to v8 swap on here and look at the time and labor it will take, and then add modding your new v8 on top of that... I'm not trying to discourage you, Just want you to explore your options, especially if you have time and are in no rush.

I know the process is a pain in the ***, im always keeping an eye out for a good deal on a v8 car, but if it comes to it I might as well do it
