input/ advice motor build
i need some input and advice, been lurking for awhile now. i searched and searched but could not find an answer. i feel my question is pretty specific,
im wondering if i SHOULD get a new intake and tb to help reach the potential of my motor? (i have the SLP tb and Ls6 stock intake) btw this is not being built for the track or strip
what i currently have
LS6 block
mahle forged pistons
stock crank and rods
arp rod bolts
stage 2.5 PRC ls6 ported heads w/ dual springs
Comp cams trunion upgrade
arp head bolts
mellings high vol oil pump
ls7 lifters
tsp pushrods
torquer V2 112 sep
ls2 timing chain
ive read so many mixed things about the Fast intakes and which ones.

is "reaching the potential" of your motor worth the cost associated with doing so?
you're the only one that can answer that question...the ls6 intake is good enough for many people

I think I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but my advice is pretty straightforward on these kinds of threads:
Set a budget, set your goals, and make decisions based on your goals and budgets. If you want more power and have the money for a FAST, get it. If you want to be faster and don't really have the cash for a FAST, look into a dry nitrous kit.
Bottom line is the FAST 102 is the best option. It also costs a fortune for 15-20HP. If you want to be faster than you are now and make more power everywhere, then get the FAST. If you don't want to drop as much coin, but still want more power, a FAST 92 is slightly more economical and is down 5-7HP vs the 102.
I just sold my ls6 intake on eBay for more than I thought I would get. I've just read mixed things about the 102 and the 92 on one being bettter then the other. The budget... Well with what I sold my ls6 intake for I'm looking at the fast intakes unless there something better. For even a couple hundred more.
As for throttle bodies I'm looking into the nick Williams ones... Unless there something you guys would suggest ? The NW price range is where I'm at.
Thanks for the replies! Looking for some more

FAST 102 all the way and the FAST TB all the way 92 or 102.
After all the things I've seen, and I used to be a huge NW advocate, I think the FAST TB is worth the money. With the 102s, tuners had issues with the NW, and I've seen some reports of leaking shafts, etc.
FAST has fixed the old sticking issues of the first gen 90mm TBs. And they've designed better 92 and 102 TBs for the 102 manifold. The 92 TB doesn't leave a gap at the bottom and the 102 has a small mound inside the bottom of the TB to slow down the air to help with low speed airflow for cruising, idling, etc.
