Default More aggressive cam?

Ok, so several years ago I went with a heads/cam package.

TR224 and some TSP Stage 2.5 5.3L heads..

The car was a daily driver at the time, but is no longer.

I'd like something a few shades more aggressive.. I've been "out" of the LS1 game working on other projects, but have been thinking about getting back into it a bit.

Any suggestions?

Well I run those heads with a Torquer V2 and love it! Personally (for street/strip combo) I wouldn't want to go much bigger than that

Yeh, I looked at the V2 when I bought the TR224, needed something small for the daily driver..

Now that it's 100% a toy, I'm thinking about some 3.73's and a new cam. LOL

How about an EPS 234/246 111? Would be plenty rowdy.

JakeFusion, lemons12 & Grr all mentioned great cams, choose either, Imo there's much better lobes designs than the Tv2 these days, still a decent cam though!!!

I've got a custom 240/246 with about 800 miles on it. Its in my new 370. Only has break in miles and a few pulls on the dyno. Not enough cam for me. Going bigger. Just putting it out there for anyone interested. 240/246 .609/.613 112+2

I'm running a Vig 2800 with 3.42 gears but I'm thinking about regearing to 3.73's and getting a higher stall.

You desperately need a larger converter, even with a 224 cam.

3600 minimum.. I recommend ptc.

Yeh, I do need a bigger converter.. I was just trying to keep it streetable when it was my main car..

PTC converters are local, so my next one will be a PTC.
