What do you want to replace, just bearings gaskets and bolts, or do you want to replace the pistons/rods, crank along with everything else. Obviously either way the valvetrain components would be replaced if its getting torn down.

TSP and some of the other vendors sell a complete gasket kit for like $300. Rings, I think you can buy stock replacements from Summit and TSP. Bearings you can get those from TSP as well the Clevite P-Series is for stock or .002" oversized rods and stock crank. I think the Durabond cam bearings are a direct swap out.

I'm actually thinking of doing this to give me a little more time on the stock shortblock.

Yeah, TSP has the Clevite P-Series replacement bearings for the Rods and Mains. Summit sells Total Seal rings for the stock 3.898" bore piston. With the complete gasket kit, you're looking at $530 to $675 depending on the rings you get.

RockAuto has a few master rebuild kits available. The cheapest coming in around 700 and including full gasket set, pistons and rings, main & rod bearings. There are a couple other choices if you want to include timing sets and oil pumps in the kit.
