Default Looking for a LS6 cam

I am looking for a LS6 cam that I can put in my 4.8TT. Need something a little more than the stack cam and I already have LS6 springs installed.

This is going off memory so I am not 100% sure.

ASA
226/236 duration
.525 lift
110 LSA

Hot cam
218/228 duration
.525 lift
112 LSA

Hot cam wouldn't be ideal, but it'd work. They call for the LS6 springs, but once you add boost into the mix, I worry that the LS6 springs won't be enough.

I'd run something like this EPS FI cam with some PAC 1518 beehive springs.

That looks like a pretty wicked cam for a little 4.8, pricey too. I have spent every last dime to get the car where it is now, was hoping to find a cheaper used cam.

Look in the classifieds here for smaller cams that people out grew in their 5.7s

Like said above I would spend the money on better springs than the ls6 springs, plus with better springs you will open your cam options way up...I'd look for something at, or under .600" lift to allow longer spring life, a 113-115 lsa and a larger duration exhaust split

You get what you pay for in the aftermarket. I'd be leery of buying a used cam. But that's just me.

the asa cam i'd think would have too much lsa for FI beeing it would bleed off boost quickly. You can get good deals on ls6 cams no problem. I picked up one up a while back for 115 shipped to me and it had 10k on it looked brand new. I stalk corvette forums as there its regarded as just a take out throw away cam from z06 owners. just make sure you get the 02-04 spec one which ends in the number 5308
