I finally got it to work, I just had to download "Quicktime." Any chance you can take a clip reving it? Or does it sound stock "period?"

Yeah, you have to have quicktime installed to play it.

Sure, I could take another clip showing some revs. Not saying I'll do it today, however.

Those are 26x10.5" ET Streets mounted on the stock wheels. It currently has 315/35/17" Nittos on 17x11" Fikse FM5s.

...And yes, I know my car was FILTHY!!! ...Seems to run quicker times when dirty. I have a theory on that, btw.

Strangely, at least one other person reported the cam to lope in their car. I don't doubt their word at all but it does confuse me. I still wonder if my LS6 heads and raised CR (11.1:1) helped me out that much and/or if possibly their tuning was off in some way. Come to think of it, I believe the person I'm thinking about might have had the SSI instead of the SSII. Maybe the 1 degree of extra LSA makes more difference than what I would have thought. I dunno.

I kid you not, this cam sounds even smoother in person than it does on the recording. No shakes, no shimmys. The only way I can get it so that you can plainly tell that there's a bigger cam in there is if I open the cuttout AND lower the idle down to like 525 RPM.

I have the Stealth II installed and it chops pretty good . Its not like its going to stall but you can hear it , no mistaking its cammed. Its running through Kooks long tubes , catted Y and slp loudmouth. I posted some videos of it a while back.

I love the sound, I didnt buy it to be quiet but to idle smooth inside the car and its great . After install it fired right up , tried to die for about 3 seconds and then just idled away. Ill have track times at the end of the month and some dyno numbers as soon as I get it off jack stands . Im hoping for close to 380 - 390 rwhp

I've taken a ride in Colonel's car and the cam does sound stock. I'm not sure why Colonel wanted a sleeper since he lives in a small town and a Camaro by itself sticks out like a sore thumb.

I hope it won't be the same case!

JoeDirt, could you send me that soundclip? Or post it or whatever.

ulysses_nilo@hotmail.com

Thanks

**edit** Nevermind, I found your clip, sounds nowhere near Colonel's car.

Sounds really good though!

Ahh, I see this is the very same cam that loped in the first car I was referring too, Cannibal's brother. I still wonder if this cam is off spec somehow...like maybe they accidentally slipped a C2 in the box instead or something. I doubt it but the mind wonders....

I found your clip but it didn't work for me.

Its pretty smooth as far as shake and shimmey go and it has the stealth II engraved in it so Im 100 % sure its the correct cam . Im very happy with the way it fired up and idled right away . I think it has to do with the slp loudmouth and the fact the car hasnt had a chance to learn the cam yet .

It has stock heads, Kooks long tubes, kooks catted Y etc and was installed straight up ( checked and double checked) .

Is it possible it was an erlier version with maybe a more aggresive spec ? Because I bought it used I didnt get a cam card .

Ill try to find the vid and post it again. Its not very good, just taken off a digital camera but you can hear it chop

The SLP Loudmouth has alot to do with it (I didn't notice that's what you had before.) That's almost like an open cuttout. I have the stock muffler.

So what's the idle RPM?
