Default 5.3l crank and rods in a 6.0l???

I work at a large auto recycler, we have 5.3l all day long for $250. Now I happened across an 07 trailblazer ss 6.0l that had low oil pressure and low end knock. Now I picked it up complete for $250 not including my discount lol I've read that the crank and rods are all pretty much the same between 5.3, 5.7, and 6.0? Is any of this true if I need only change crank and or rods can this be done with five three bottom end??

You can use the crank and rods from the 5.3 in the 6.0, just need the 6.0 pistons. Also, since the rotating assembly is mismatched, you will want to balance it.

I was hoping they would interchange, I was going FI but I'd like to try getting as close to 500hp as I can with as much simplicity as possible which is why I grabbed the 6.0. I'm hoping when I take it apart I don't find any further damage but will see. Is it possible to get close to 500 with H/C/I/E with the 6.0l?

Yea 500fwhp is easy to obtain with the right heads/cam combo.
