Default need help with cam and heads

so I have a 00 ss with a tr 230 reverse split on stock 241 heads with ls6 intake. Car made 358hp/363tq to the rear wheels on a mustang dyno. Car runs a consistent 12.10.-.20 I am looking to make some more power with a budget head set up. I would also like to make sure this head and cam set up will be N20 friendly. I have been told the tr230 isn't really N20 friendly. Just looking for a little help from some experience people and vendors before spending any more money. Thanks ahead of time.

Well I run PRC 5.3 heads, and they are like $1300 from Texas Speed. As far as the cam goes with nitrous....I wouldn't worry at all if you are only spraying a 150 shot or less

nos adds a lot of cylinder pressure .depending on the amount of nos ,to run nos on pump gas you mite benefit from cam with a 112 +lsa and not much advance ground into the cam.a 100hp of nos with the right set up can reduce your et by .8.

The reverse split cams need a bit more exhaust than a conventional split, so they don't work quite as well with nitrous, but as was said, pretty much any cam works pretty well on a smaller <150 shot.

For the heads, AI or TEA. AI can port your stock heads for 995+springs and TEA can as well or sell you new 243s ported from 1199 (includes PAC dual springs and your core) or 1799 with new LS6 cores.

the more nos the more exhaust duration you need.you can have your 241s ported and get a custom cam to fit your combo.
