Default ticking that i cant figure out

ok guys I want to bounce this off some smarter then me people lol. ok I have a ls1 swapped rx7 vert. I just go it back from the dyno and now when I do a high rpm pull its ticks for a while and eventually goes away tuner said maybe a lifter that isn't pumping up right so is a little sticky at high rpm. I was thinking maybe a bent puchrod but then it would do it all the time but other then those I have no idea it only does it after I have a little fun then it seems to go any ideas.

How old is the engine. My car did this. It consistently got worse. Until it would tap loud above 1500 rpm the quiet back Down after idleing for a few minutes. Turns out my oil pump o ring had shrunk up and cracked causing it to pull air. Never showed signs of a oil pressure problem either. I changed everything trying to find it. Lifters heads redone. All of that. In the end it was the oring.

Are you sure you dident pinch it or cut it while puting it in? If your 100% sure keep searching. For me. The oring was the last thing I checked. I sure spent alot of money trying to fix it before I found it.

you say it ticks at high rpm and then goes away....meaning it goes away while you maintain that high rpm, or after you back it down? I think the oil pressure would be pretty telling of whether it's an oil pump o-ring or not....what kind of pressure readings are you getting?

sounds to me like a lifter issue though due to its transient nature. what lifters are you running?

They are ls7 lifters. And I have 30psi idle and running I get around 50 55 psi. Today I pulled the pushrods and they are all good and all the lifters are moving so none are stuck but one could be collapsed not sure how to test that thinking about just replacing all the lifters
