did a 3rd gear pull yesterday and noticed a slight "knocking" noise. not very loud, but not normal. so i drained the oil today, didnt see any flakes or pieces, but there was def a gold pearl look to it. im sure its a bearing, just not 100% sure which one. any ideas where to start?

Cutting the filter open comes to mind.
Or, an oil sample to confirm your thot[s]?
In any case, if it's knocking, it's time for it to be on an engine stand.
