I have a TSP ported ls6 pump in the Camaro and a melling pump in my 5.3L yukon, both make about 50 psi at idle and 75 psi at WOT. Haven't had any problems with either.

Try the GM AFM/DOD pump, PN 12571885. High volume and high pressure, but only $80.

Many of the guys running big numbers swear that Schumann's pump is top notch. Currently running a Melling with no issues.

Call Tim at the Car Shop Inc he can spec out a Schumanns pump for you.

I have them on both my cars and they have worked perfect.
