i put ls3 heads on my lq4 so i bought an ls3 intake to match ive had to modify my steam vents to make room for the intake to sit and now i think that my knock sensor harness is keeping it from dropping all the way down. Has anyone fut an ls3 intake on a lq4 before can i move my knock sensor somewhere else on the block? how critical is their placement? also will a 92mm throttle body fit an ls3 intake? thanks guys.

 

Try to shoot a little paint, or rub grease on the bottom of your intake. While still wet, set it in place and wiggle it back and forth....that should show you what and where is hitting

 

i took the knock sensor harness out and was able to get it to sit all the way down i think ill cut a small grove in the honeycomb on the bottom of the intake and tuck the wires in it.
