I had a 2000 ws.6 a4 back in high school with lt's, ory, lid, vig 4000 stall, and ms4...it was tuned and dynoed by tsp it made 387 rwhp with a ls1 intake and 853 heads and 133,000 miles and I swear I would daily rape that car!!! Shift points set at 6800 rpms, everyday I would take it to redline and pull 130-140 out of it...I would treat it horrible!! Horrible and I sold it with 178,000 miles with the same dual springs I put in it at 133,000!!! That's 43,000 miles without even checking the springs and never once had a problem!!
I can't wait to get a big cam. I researched and found the best info on these boards, the REAL answers will be in threads that indirectly answer questions for you. As folks will give opinions and non experienced, third rate info as they judge on the ever so controversial, large cams. I made around 490hp or 412rwhp and 390ftlbs of torque with just a 230-234 cam and ls6 heads/intake non ported
