TRW, Speed Pro, Sealed Power, and Federal Mogul are all basically one giant
company.......Great products for many years. I've heard that recently they
have moved their piston manufacturing overseas and that the sizing as well
as the weights have been inconsistent. I've preferred the Federal Mogul; now
marketed under Speed Pro bearings in my circle track builds as the mains
are a 3/4 groove which oils 270 degrees around the journal as opposed to
only 180 degrees for most brands where only the block shell is grooved.
Sizing clearances have always been spot on.
