Cam suggestion?
Cam suggestion? I know these threads are a dime a dozen, and I apologize in advance. But.. more perspective is never a bad thing. So, I'm figuring everything out for my build before I start ordering parts, and I thought I would get a few different opinions.
The engine is a 418 LS3, and I'm probably going to use Advanced Induction 280CC heads, FAST 102, matched TB, &etc. It's going to be a daily driver, and should have reasonable driving manners. The trick, of course, is that 'reasonable' is relative. I don't mind some down low cam surge. In any event, the car should weigh ~2700-2800LBS with fluids and no driver, so that might help in your estimations. The rear is currently a 4:10, but will likely change to something like a 3:55 in the future. It will likely never see any nitrous, and, if it does, it will probably not be more than a 100 shot.
